Description
The 5th Annual Fun Glow 5k™ is a 3.1mile untimed, nighttime FUN run/walk (mostly walk) with multiple foam glow zones.
Event Details
Each glow zone will be full of glow foam and blasting high energy dance music. Fun Glow 5k event focuses on fun and fitness all in one event. Whether you are new to running or an avid runner, you are sure to be entertained along the way. No powder or paint, just good clean foam! We encourage all levels of fitness and age groups to participate, it's like one big moving dance party!
The venue will be host to a wide variety of gourmet foods, adult and regular beverages. Stay for the after party and enjoy the music, atmosphere and glow foam party. The best family night out event in S. Florida!
EVENT DETAILS:
The Venue
1) The venue opens at 5:00pm at which time you can register if unregistered and pick up your T-shirt and event gear if you did not opt-in for mailing to your residence (Recommended).
2) The venue will have a lot of entertainment, activities, food and beverages and is free for all to attend.
3)We will have a large stage with our house DJ, Jumbo video screens and our glow girls doing their thing on stage. We have foam cannons that spray foam over the crowd intermittently throughout the night. There are give aways and free items thrown from stage into the crowd so arrive early to get in on the freebies!
4) We will have various vendors from the surrounding communities that will have give aways at their individual tents.
5) Don't miss out on the great food and adult beverages that will be serving throughout the night!
The course:
1) The start line will be located next to the stage and the run starts at 8:00-8:15pm. We will release waves of 200 people at a time so that everyone gets to enjoy each glow zone without crowding and this makes for a safe event as well.
2) The 5k course (3.1miles) is all on the street and winds through the beautiful S. County Regional Park. You will enjoy multiple glow zones with foam cannons, LED lights and high energy dance music along the way. Each zone is it's own little party. Take lots of pictures and tag us online. We may showcase your pictures on our Facebook page for all to see if we like them!
3) The finish line enters through the back of the venue and finishes with a mound of foam, free water and a cool digital photo backdrop!
