Labor Day is the one day of the year reserved for relaxation, but that doesn't mean you have to stay at home. While many places will be closed on September 3, there are still plenty of fun things to do on Labor Day weekend in West Palm Beach.
This year’s Labor Day Bar Crawl in West Palm Beach starts Saturday, September 1 at 8 p.m. and ending at 4 a.m. on Sunday, September 2. Tickets cost $15, and that price includes cover and a free first drink at five venues: Roxy's Pub, The Pawn Shop, Banko Cantina, Sketch Lounge, and The Loft. Registration for the bar crawl begins Saturday at 8 p.m. at Roxy’s Pub.
Palm Beach County boasts 83 parks and natural areas, over half of which are in the West Palm Beach area. All of the county’s parks and nature areas such as Okeeheelee Golf Course and Park will remain open on Labor Day so you can enjoy your day off at the park.
While children under the age of three normally get into Palm Beach Zoo for free, those under the age of 13 will receive free admission with the purchase of a regular priced adult on Labor Day weekend through September 3. There's a limit of six free children admissions free per one paid adult, and this deal cannot be combined with another offer.
In addition to seeing all the zoo animals for a discount, you can beat the heat at the zoo's Play Fountain. If you visit the zoo on Labor Day, you can also cool off by 15 to 20 degrees at the FPL Cooling Station that blasts liquid nitrogen!
Attention, all shoppers: dozens of stores at Palm Beach Outlets will be slashing already-low prices with a Labor Day weekend sidewalk sale! Participating stores include Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Carter’s, Clarks, Everything But Water, Flip Flop Shops, GH Bass Factory Outlet, Greg Norman, Hurley, iFixand Repair +Gear, Jockey, Kipling, Le Creuset, Naturalizer, Nautica, Nordstrom Rack, Osh Kosh, Perfumania, Sperry Top-Sider, Vera Bradley, and more.
Whether you like walking in the park or at the zoo, crawling from one bar to the next, or shopping til you drop, West Palm Beach is full of things to do on Labor Day weekend.
