Broward County is located on the southeastern coast of Florida with Ft. Lauderdale being its county seat. The county was named after Napoleon Bonaparte Broward who was instrumental in the history of the State of Florida. Broward County has excellent beaches and straddles the Everglade National Park to its west. Ft. Lauderdale International Airport serves the region, and the the county enjoys a warm, tropical climate.
