Palm Beach Dramaworks is committed to enhancing the quality of life through the transformative power of live theatre. Since its founding in 2000, PBD has distinguished itself with vibrant productions of classic, contemporary, and overlooked plays that inspire, engage, challenge, and entertain audiences. Guided by what PBD calls Theatre to Think About, the company presents five stimulating works between October and June, and additional summer programming. PBD is equally invested in the community, in education, and in nurturing the future of theatre, and as its reputation has grown, so has its reach and outreach. The company offers presentations and interviews with or about the industry's top professionals, audience discussions, and opportunities for students in Palm Beach County to experience live theatre. Its newest venture is The Dramaworkshop, a lab for developing new plays. All of PBD's programming is informed by an insistence on quality and integrity.
