Our mission is to be a place where the community by large can experience the finest in independent cinema, music, comedy and various other performing arts while simultaneously providing a convention center venue that will host anything from indoor green markets to comic book conventions. Located in the heart of a budding art district and downtown corridor with a rich history. We are known for showcasing national talent and offer one of the most intimate venues around. Remember when you were a kid, that one house everyone hung out at? The Kelsey Theater is the grown up equivalent of that. What was once a successful indie film house and rock music venue has been transformed into an independently run, community-based theater that focuses on bringing culture to the surrounding areas through film, music and the performing arts. Whether taking in a movie or comedy show while relaxing in our bistro style seating, or enjoying a standing room only concert in the only 500 person venue between Orlando and Ft Lauderdale we hope to provide you with a truly one of a kind experience. The Kelsey Theater is located in an unassuming building that is at the center of an art and culture revival. Lake Park, known as Kelsey City back in the 20's, was known for its working-class community and a hotspot for wealthy Palm Beachers to enjoy the arts. We are bringing that back!
