Casting children 8 years & up, teens and adults. ALL roles open. Adult actors will be paid. Audition Saturday, August 17th, 1-5pm.

No appointment necessary. You will be seen in order of arrival.
If unable to attend, we will be accepting video submissions, FROM ADULTS ONLY. In-person auditions are always preferred. Otherwise, please send a letter of interest by email with resume and video attached to: showtimeboca@aol.com. Video submissions must be received before Saturday, August 17.
Callback date Monday, August 19th 5-8pm (if necessary).
Rehearsals are Mondays and Fridays 5-8pm & 4 Saturdays 3-6pm beginning Friday, August 23, 2019.
Production opens Saturday, September 21, 2019 for
6 Saturdays at 4pm.
AUDITION DETAILS:
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Provide music backing tracks on CD, phone or MP3. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes in which to learn a dance combination. Be prepared to cold read from the script.

Set in a northern English mining town against the background of the 1984 miners' strike, Billy Elliot is the inspirational story of a young boy's struggle against the odds to make his dream come true. Follow Billy's journey as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family and community... and changes his life forever.
