How to Create a Talk That Teaches, Inspires, and Entertains

How to Add Humor and Movement in Your Talk and Be Unforgettable

How to WRITE Your Talk and MEMORIZE it With Ease

Your Lead Instructor: Allison Ford

Allison Ford is a TEDx Speaker who focuses on giving talks that entertain and touch an audience. Her goal is to unleash authenticity and allow the audience to hear her truth—no matter if it’s ugly—in order for them to realize that speaking truth is the path towards real freedom.

She has spoken for Women Empower X Conference, Florida Atlantic University, Keiser University’s JA Annual Young Entrepreneurs, Davie-Cooper City’s Annual Women in Heels Event, Yoga Fun Day Delray, and more. She has curated and directed three speaker series, including The Checking-In Conference, Meditation and Life: Young Adult Talk Series for Broward County Schools, and Motherhood Rewritten Theatrical Conference held at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center.

Allison’s theater and dance background allows her to be a speaking and content coach who brings so many tools to the table. Not only does she speak professionally, but she directs and writes for speakers, actors, and dancers for her own annual conference. She combines her education of writing screenplays, choreography and dance certifications, and working as a yoga instructor in order to give each student the ability to see that hitting the stage for a talk requires that you own your content, understand your body/body language, and maintain your breath. That speaking is a layered practice, indeed.

She believes that each talk involves you, your body, your words, and your ability to communicate that message to each type of leaner. This is why we must use every tool we have—and we have a lot!

She teaches each speaker how to write, rehearse, edit, and execute a talk that hits every piece of the puzzle while on stage. When everything comes together, you are left with a talk that feels authentic and intenti
